Accessibility Statement
Last updated · 06 Jul 2026
A product about how you see should be usable by everyone. Here's where we stand and how to reach us.
01Our commitment
Eye Ware is a product about sight, so access is not an afterthought. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across this site and to keep improving as we learn.
02What we've done
- Semantic HTML landmarks and a logical heading order on every page.
- Colour contrast checked against AA: body text meets 4.5:1, large text 3:1, on our dark theme.
- Full keyboard operability with a visible gold focus ring on every interactive element.
- Descriptive alt text on imagery and accessible names on icon buttons.
- Reduced-motion support: all scroll animations, parallax, and the intro sequence collapse to instant transitions when you set “reduce motion” in your OS.
- Form fields have associated labels, hints, and inline error text.
03Motion & the loader
The animated intro, smooth scrolling, and section reveals are decorative enhancements. With reduced-motion enabled they are skipped entirely, and content is shown immediately without waiting on any animation.
04Known limitations
The heads-up display illustration in the hero is decorative and marked as an image with a text alternative. If you encounter any barrier we haven’t caught, we want to hear about it.
05Feedback
Email access@eyeware.events and we’ll respond within five working days. Please include the page and the assistive technology you were using.
